Political Promise Needs New Writers

In Charlie Edwards on June 17, 2011 at 9:21 am

I firmly believe that students need a voice more than ever. As the Government undergoes education reforms, why were not our generation, who have the most direct experience of the state of our education system, consulted on the changes that needed to be made? On university tuition, anti-social behaviour, Olympic tickets, why are we not heard on the issues that affect us?

The concept of Political Promise is 18 months old next week. We launched to provide this generation, current school and university students and young professionals, the opportunity to have their voice heard. Once again, we are looking to expand our team. If you are interested in cutting your teeth in journalism, and want to write news or comment pieces for the website, email politicalpromise@yahoo.co.uk with a paragraph about yourself, and I will get back to you. You do not need experience, nor need to live in London. Just enthusiasm, a computer and a decent vocabulary will do.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Charlie Edwards (Founder of PoliticalPromise.co.uk)
